City Girls DC was created because we saw a need for connection throughout the DMV. As our community grew, we realized that connection could extend beyond our walks and social events. Our members wanted opportunities to give back, learn about causes that matter to them, and get more involved.

As our philanthropic efforts grew, we saw an opportunity to build deeper relationships with the organizations we support. Longer-term partnerships create more meaningful volunteer experiences, ongoing education, and lasting community impact.

Today, our Causes of the Year program reflects that evolution. Each year, we partner with a select group of organizations whose missions align with ours, working together on volunteer events, educational opportunities, and community initiatives throughout the year. We continue to share and join volunteer opportunities with many other organizations across the DMV too, so our members can keep supporting the causes they care about.
